Line-Up

The The Sherwood Blues Band consists of Sherwood and four band members. Part of Sherwood's vision when putting this sound together was to keep it simple. Sherwood has always said he didn't want his sound sliced, spliced or overdubbed. To hold true to this credo, he does in fact...keep it simple.

Jimi Jones, one of the best "old school" drummers around, is on drums. He brings to this band exactly what a drummer is all about...rhythm. Jimi's rhythm is solid, unrelenting and deep-in-the-pocket. Jimi is the just the right fit for this sound.

Tony Fazio is on rhythm and lead guitar. Tony is a graduate of the Berklee School of Music and brings a wealth of musical knowledge with him. There is a saying,"Still waters run deep", this saying applies to Tony.

Bill Thomas is on lead, rhythm and slide guitar. He is the most talented guitar player Sherwood has ever worked with. He is phenomenal and he is explosive. There's a saying that "still waters run deep". How true that is. Bill's talent reserves truly run deep. Bill is another rock solid player who has learned from the masters. His passion and dedication to his art are evident. It doesn't matter if he's playing electric or acoustic; you can't help but recognize it's the real thing!

Bill Jackson is on electric bass. Without a doubt, one of the best bass players in the area, Bill is a true master of his instrument. When Sherwood gets into his bedrock blues Bill is perhaps at his best, knowing when to sound the note and when to let the note sound.
